What information do we process?

When you shop with us, we may process among other things:

• name
• email address
• delivery address
• phone number where necessary for delivery
• products ordered
• size and quantity
• price and payment status
• order number
• shipping and tracking information
• communication with customer service
• technical information necessary for security and operation

We do not store complete payment card details.

Why do we use the information?

We use the information to:

• receive and administer the order
• process payment
• produce and ship the item
• send the order confirmation
• send delivery and tracking information
• handle returns and complaints
• prevent misuse and technical errors
• meet statutory accounting, documentation and regulatory requirements

Processing necessary to complete a purchase is based on the processing being necessary to perform the contract with the customer. Other information may be processed because Elias Forberg AS has a legal obligation or another valid legal basis.

Who receives the information?

We only share information when it is necessary to run the store or fulfil the order:

• Stripe — processes payment
• Printful — receives the information necessary to produce, deliver and track the products they make
• Lovable — website operation, order functionality and email sending
• Supabase — technical database and storage for the store
• Carriers — receive the delivery information necessary for shipping

We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

Payment information

Payment is made through Stripe.

Card details are handled by Stripe and are not sent as complete card data to Elias Forberg AS.

We receive information such as payment status and the transaction references necessary to connect the payment to the order.

Production and shipping

For products made by Printful, the order and delivery information necessary for production and shipping is shared with Printful.

When the item is shipped, the carrier may receive name, address, phone number and other information necessary for delivery.

How long do we keep the information?

We keep personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose it was collected for.

Information relating to purchases and payment may be kept longer where necessary to meet accounting and documentation requirements, handle complaints, document transactions or handle possible legal claims.

Information that is no longer necessary is deleted or anonymised when we have no other lawful basis for keeping it.

Marketing

We do not send marketing email simply because you have bought a product.

If we later offer a newsletter or other electronic marketing requiring consent, that is handled separately. A purchase never depends on the customer consenting to marketing.

Cookies and tracking

The website currently uses only technologies that are strictly necessary for the cart, checkout, security and technical settings. We use no analytics, marketing or tracking tools, and therefore set no cookies requiring consent.

If we later introduce non-essential cookies or tracking technologies, they will not be activated before valid consent is obtained, and refusing will be as easy as accepting.

Transfers outside the EEA

Some technical providers may process information outside Norway or the EEA. Where this happens, the transfer takes place on a valid legal basis and with the necessary safeguards.

Your rights

Depending on the situation, you may have the right to:

• access the information we hold about you
• rectification of incorrect information
• erasure
• restriction of processing
• data portability
• object to certain processing
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

You also have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you believe personal data is processed in breach of the rules.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated if the store, its providers or the regulations change. The current version will always be available at eliasforberg.no.
